This Privacy Policy explains how ICGC Quran Connections (“ICGC Quran Connections,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website at https://icgc-qc.masjidapps.net/, register a student, use our parent portal, or make a payment through our site. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.

1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our students’ families and website visitors. This Policy describes our privacy practices and your choices regarding your information. By using our website or submitting information through our forms, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Parent/guardian contact information: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address;
• Student and family information: information provided by a parent or guardian during registration, such as the student’s name, date of birth or age, grade level, and other details needed for enrollment;
• Registration and enrollment information: program or enrollment package selections, emergency contacts, and other details requested on our registration forms;
• Account information: login credentials and account activity for our parent portal;
• Payment information: tuition and fee payment details (payment card and bank account information is collected and processed by our third-party payment platform, not stored by ICGC Quran Connections);
• Communications: information you submit through our contact form (name, email, and message) or by subscribing to email updates;
• Photos and video: images of students, families, and program activities taken at our events and classes (see “Photos and Media” below); and
• Technical information: standard information collected automatically when you visit our website, such as browser and device type, IP address, and pages visited (see “Cookies and Analytics” below).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process student registration and enrollment, and place students in the appropriate class;
• Process tuition and fee payments and communicate about tuition;
• Provide and maintain access to our parent portal;
• Communicate with parents/guardians about classes, schedules, the school calendar, and announcements;
• Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form;
• Keep academic, attendance, and administrative records;
• Maintain, operate, and improve our website and programs; and
• Comply with applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations.

4. Registration, Portal, and Student Records

Student registration and the parent portal are provided through third-party online platforms linked from our website. Information submitted during registration or entered in the portal is used to enroll the student, maintain academic and attendance records, and communicate with the student’s family.

5. Information About Children; Parental Consent

ICGC Quran Connections serves children. All information about a student is provided to us by that student’s parent or legal guardian during registration — our website, registration forms, and portal are directed at, and completed by, parents/guardians, not by children directly. We use student information only for enrollment, class placement, and participation in our programs. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without a parent or guardian’s involvement. A parent or guardian may contact us at any time using the information below to review, correct, or request deletion of their child’s information, subject to our recordkeeping obligations as an educational program.

6. Tuition and Payments

When a parent or guardian pays tuition or fees online, payment card or bank information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment platform under that platform’s own privacy policy; ICGC Quran Connections does not store full payment card or bank account numbers. We retain records of payments for recordkeeping and compliance purposes.

7. Photos and Media

We may take photographs or video of students, families, and program activities and use them on our website, in newsletters, or on social media. If you do not want your child or family to be photographed or included in such materials, please notify us in writing using the contact information below and we will honor your request going forward.

8. Email Communications

If you provide your email address, we may use it to send you class updates, tuition and schedule notices, announcements, and newsletters. You can opt out of non-essential emails, such as newsletters, at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us. Enrollment confirmations, tuition notices, and other messages needed to administer your student’s enrollment may not be optional.

9. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your or your child’s personal information. We may share information with:

• Trusted third-party service providers that operate our website, registration, parent portal, payment, and communication services, solely to provide those services on our behalf;
• Teachers and staff directly involved in providing classes to the registered student;
• Professional advisors (such as accountants) as needed for recordkeeping and compliance; and
• Government authorities or other parties, where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ICGC Quran Connections, our students, or others.

10. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, operate our parent portal, and understand how visitors use our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may cause some website or portal features to stop working.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Rights and Choices

As a parent or guardian, you may:

• Update or correct your contact information and your child’s information;
